Came back from dinner at Chinatown. Was crazily packed the restaurant. Called like 5 restaurant all were fully booked due to the size of my party (arnd 10ppl). Anyways, it was a lowkey dinner. Nothin much!!

Went to the Natural History Museum last week to do some geology shit. Boy do I mean SHIT!! The geology section was a bore except the exhibit on the Kobe Earthquake whereby there was this japanese minimart emulating the time when the earthquake happen. The mart was actually shaking but of course not at the same ritcher scale but was strong enough. The amazing thing of the museum is not actually the exhibits (except the dinosaurs) but the architecture. Absolutely amazing.

So the HYPED-UP What The Dunks Lows SB was released this morning at Nike Town.

Tons of ppl were queuing up last night(some even on Sunday) and there were only like 90+ pairs available. Actually thought of getting a pair myself(selling at retail price, 65GBP) but I'm not bothered to queue for a whole night since I've got tutorials the next day. Saw some pics on a forum and to be honest, it looks really cool. Tons of ppl queuing up, sitting around, doing their thing, waiting for nike town to open its door.

The tough bit is not that to present it to the class in a week time but to draw it on a A3 size paper. Same time last year, it was FUCKING hot. This time around, it flippin cold(considering its still summer). I for one believe that global warming is happening but thinking it would not affect this generation but the next. I mean summertime was only for 1-2 weeks and the weather has not been great. Here, everyone is talking about the weather. On the bus, you could easily strike up a conversation with a stranger by talking about the weather. Good way to break the ice if you're sitting next to a HOT girl.

My landlord or rather the estate agent are increasing my rent from GBP350pw to GBP450pw when I am renewing my contract for my apartment. I've been living here for almost 2 years and feel settled here. But with the increment of the rent, I'll prolly need to be looking for a new place. Hopefully some place as convenient as where I'm staying now which I really doubt. I mean, my flat is in between two tube stations(both less than 5 mins away), buses everywhere, supermarket, shopping centre, restaurants and many more. But on the other hand, I'm quite looking forward to move to a new place. Not the actual moving which I think is gonna be shit. I've got until 20 October to move but Uni starts in late September so I would wanna find a place by then. Looking around zone 2 as it could save me loads of money but prolly not as convenient. But will have to wait and see.

Went to Chinatown for dinner and walked past a few stores selling durian. Suddenly, I felt the urge to eat durians. Checked a few stores and were selling whole durian for 5GBP per kilo. Then I changed my mind because not that its difficult to open it when I get back home but it bringing it home is the main problem. Imagine walking down the street filled with people with durians and boarding a bus full of people. As you know, people here DON'T like the smell of durians. So I decided to buy packed ones which were like 10 quid a kilo. Money well spent as the flesh were so sweet.

I was like "yeah!! I cud do it. I'll be the 2% that would solve the quiz." So I took out a pen and paper and start drawing diagrams, mapping the clues out, just like a standard physics question going thru a mechanical process. After around 5-10mins, I managed to come to a conclusion. Well I'm not gonna spoil it for ppl who wanna solve the quiz, so if you wanna solve it don't scroll any further.

Ok this would prolly do. Anyways, I came to the conclusion. I was like hell that was not that difficult. There's prolly a trick to it since Mr. Einstein state that 98% wud not be able to solve it. I mean he's the smart ass guy would flipping came up with E = mc2. So I went through it again and came to the same conclusion. So I prolly did the whole technical and logical process right but not the understanding. Then I look at this Einstein picture.

I was like that's a cheeky little wanker. Prolly the quiz were meant to haf no solution or the solution is some stupid ass answer. So I decided to google the quiz looking for the answer and apparently I found it.
This is quoted from the website I found. It goes:

Almost all the answers to the Einstein Quiz I have seen on the web go through the same mechanical process to solving the puzzle. They chart out the problem, lay out each clue graphically, and slowly build a picture of which persons, drinks and pets are in which houses. Its a logical, technical and involved process. If you do all this you inevitably conclude that it is the German who has fish.

But is this the right way to solve the problem? No its not! Nowhere in the problem, except in the question, is the word fish found. Thus the fifth pet might just as well be elephants as fish. After a lot of work you can safely conclude that the German has the fifth pet, but you have to ASSUME that the fifth pet is fish in order to conclude the German has fish. But you have no basis for making this assumption. Note that Einstein was very careful to separate the "Facts" from the "Question" in this puzzle.

And it is just like Einstein to give us a puzzle like this, for he stressed examining assumptions, and once wrote: "The important thing is to not stop questioning."

I was like fuck this shit. I just freaking wasted almost 30mins of my time. But then again, I was thinking that I would come up with an answer like that. I mean like saying "Well, this does not mean the german have the fish since it's not stated." But apparently too much Physics can actually subdue my Saggitarrian side (meaning my ego side which thinks that I can come up with a silly answer and yet I can prove that I'm right). So assumption is actually quite a silly and dangerous thing to do well in this case, saying the German have a pet fish but he prolly have a freaking hyena or sumthing. (I just need an excuse to show this pic. I mean is this cool or wad. Hell am I gonna mess wif this dude here.)

Anyways, this was a long post and I can't wait for the new footie season (8 more days). Oh yeah, I can't wait for my architecture course to start as well.

I'm pretty sure that you all know by now that there is a megaflood in London. Helicopters and boats everywhere. Army. Navy. RAF. Rescuers. This is well fucked-up. Airports are closed, tube stations are flooded and road full of water but thankfully the electricity and internet is working. I'm well safe and sound since I'm living in the 6th floor. The flood waters are as high as the 2nd floor eventhough I'm quite far from the Thames River. Thankfully, I've bought my weekly supplies from Tesco yesterday. The worst thing is that there aren't any running water or drinking water. So I have to make do with a few bottled water I've bought. This is some scary shit man. Apparently, they're saying that the flood water will rise overnight. Should have gone home to Malaysia. Global Warming is definitely fucking happening.

is absolutely wonderful. Ppl may love krispy kreme, ppl may adore Dunkin' Donuts but personally Bread Papa's is at another level. It may be expensive but its worth the price. GBP6 for 5 approx RM8 for one of the cream puff. However, the price doesn't seem to put ppl off prolly due to the store being the only one in Europe and of course the delicious vanilla custard filled puffs. However, Scottish notes aren't favoured in the store. Paid for it using GBP5 in scottish tender got from the Korean restaurant but apparently Royal Bank of Scotland notes r totally diff than those Bank of England ones.

Anyways, there's sales everywhere. 30% off, 50% off, 70% off signs everywhere. Bought myself a Paul Smith polo which means another GBP45 hole in my wallet.

Sis and her bf goin to Spain on Monday. Got the whole apartment for myself. But nothing to fuckin do. New York, Prague, or an Oriental (Japan, Korea, HK, Bangkok, Singapore) trip when I get back to Malaysia. Maybe Autumn in the Big Apple, Winter in Prague and Summer in the best place in the world (Home). I know its still a long time (3 months) away but gotta save. No more cream puffs, no more Starbucks, no more shopping....well maybe just once a week of puffs and a couple of Frapps wud be okay. And of course my shopping wud haf to be done by my sis's bf when he goes back to Japan (Land of Bape, Evisu, Head Porter, Neighborhood...the list goes on and on)

Car bomb in Haymarket

Fuckin hell!! There was a freakin car bomb in Haymarket. That's like least than 5 mins (arnd 150m) from my workplace n jst opposite the Haymarket branch of Yo! Sushi. It was crazy shit. The police closed off almost the whole Piccadilly/Haymarket area. Our branch was only opened at 2pm since the whole area was closed. I didn't even know wad happen until I reached the restaurant. My managae called me to inform me that the whole Piccadilly area was closed so there won't be any buses goin there. She didn't tell me wads wrong so I figured probably for preparation for the gay pride tomorrow. When I got off the tube, I heard the announcement on the speakers about "moment of heighten security", I was like ok wtf is happening since there was police presence everywhere. When I exit the Piccadilly Circus station, everywhere was blocked off. Ppl were queuing, yellow tapes everywhere, tv crews everywhere n tons of police. I was like "Wtf happened!! Did I missed smthing?" When I reached the restaurant, the Haymarket staffs were there. Stocks after stocks were left in our restaurants. It was really fucked up!! I mean the police actually found out about the bomb by chance. I mean if not, thousands of ppl wud be freakin killed since it was about a very happening club. Scary if u come to think of it. Thank god nothing happen.

Yesterday, I was walking towards King's Cross Station when I saw a guy wearing a black NFS exclusive shark hoody. I was like man this guy has got one of grail. I mean this piece is extremely rare and of course expensive (at least $1.4k ). As I walked towards him, I then noticed that what he was wearing was a fape. The hoody was so fake that no one wud wanna wear it. Bcoz most ppl who knows about the shark hoody definitely knows bape and how to differentiate the real deal from the fake ones. I wud be really embarrass to wear a fake hoody walking around London thinking I'm all that. The guy obviously knows dat he's wearing a fake and yet he still wears it. Summore, its raining and he's covering himself wif the hood. No one in their right mind wud use their shark on a fucked-up day AND without an umbrella. I mean the hoody was suppose to look like this og one.

Notice the word PONR with the yellow outline. His one was white in colour and the font was all wrong. The stitching for the real ones are really detailed. His ones on the other hand was like me doing the stitching. And the time-line on the back was suppose to be 2000 - 1993 - 2005. He's one read 2000 - 1995 - 2005. I mean if his hood was down, no one wud prolly notice. I wud gif him the benefit of the doubt dat he prolly din noe he's was a fape. I mean if u can't afford it, dun buy a fake one. Just start saving up. Dat's wad I'm doing by the way. Trying to at least get one of my grails.

Apparently, my manager thinks that I'm a very good supervisor. She said she is really impressed with me and that if I keep up my performance, I'll be getting a pay-rise in two to three weeks time. From 5.75 to 6GBP per hour. That is like around 120GBP a week at a flexible and fun job dat I really enjoy. Apart from that, I can get to meet all kinds of ppl, meet new friends and eat plenty of healthy, good-for-the-heart food (maki..sashimi..handrolls..rolls) So, with proper saving (which I doubt), I can get my grails after all.

it was gonna be like '99. To be honest, I didn't feel distraught with the result because the Premiership is what I really want (3 years without it is a long time). There are many fapes around due to the limited availability for bapes and of course the price. So here's my guide to spot fape hoody (wif of course help from bapetalk2 and ISS).

First off is the neck tag.

Real ones

Ugly fapes

Second is the zippers

Real ones with metal zippers. It should all say "bape" on the front side of the zipper.

Third is the sleeve tags and neck tags

Real ones have little thread that can be seen running behind it

Next are the care tags. For fapes, the tags often aren't as bold, and the writing is done in several different fonts.

finally, the last thing to check is the stitching on the hoody. bape's stitching is exactly the same on almost all of their items, and is very complicated. the stitching on the fakes is much worse and very cheaply done.

Most hoodies sold on eBay are mostly fapes except from legit sellers (can be found on forums). Sellers with huge amount of the same hoodies and sold at a freaking cheap prices are def fake since bape don't wholesale. Og Bapes can be bought on legit sites like cliffedge or 3peat and of course Bape Stores around the world. (Japan, Taipei, London, HK, LA n NYC)
